Aspiranet, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) charity, supports foster children, siblings, families, and the community with 35 core programs offering specialized services through 45 locations within California. Founded 35 years ago as a six-bed group home for young boys in Moss Beach, California, Aspiranet is one of the most diverse nonprofit social service agencies in the state. Aspiranet’s vision of bringing families together and helping foster children, siblings, and parents thrive is realized through services in the following areas: Adoption and Foster Care, Early Prevention for At-Risk Families, Education and Afterschool, Pregnant and New Mothers, Emotional and Behavioral Health, Encore Careers, Autism and Special Needs.

EMQ FamiliesFirst takes a state-of-the-art approach to children and youth with complex behavioral health challenges: they combine research-based behavioral health services (including evidence-based therapies and psychiatric services) with a family-centered effort to identify and address the social and other needs of the family. EMQ FamiliesFirst has a comprehensive network of coordinated services designed to aid children, adolescents, and families at all levels of need. Each year, we provide direct service to over 18,000 children and their family members.

Since 1971 the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center has been building the health, advocating for the rights and enriching the lives of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people. The Center's wide array of services includes: free HIV/AIDS care and medications for those most in need; housing, food, clothing and support for homeless LGBT youth; support and advocacy services for LGBT seniors and LGBT-parented families.

Lutheran Social Services has its origins in social ministry efforts dating back to 1883. LSS responds when people are vulnerable because of homelessness, mental illness, drug addiction or disaster. They provide support services and compassionate guidance to help individuals, families, and youth emerging from foster care stabilize their lives and become self-sufficient. In Northern California, their programs serve more than 2,575 clients in Sacramento, San Francisco, and Contra Costa and San Joaquin Counties, providing hope, housing, and compassionate support.

Montgomery County Office of Children and Youth is the county’s public agency responsible for assuring safety, permanency and well being of all children residing within the county. The Office of C&Y offers services to families to promote safe and stable home environments for children.  In appropriate cases, child placement, adoption and independent living services are provided.

Created in 2002, Our Kids is the non-profit lead agency for Community Based Care (CBC) in Miami-Dade and Monroe counties. Since May 2005, Our Kids has been providing foster care and related services in Miami and the Florida Keys. Our Kids is proud of its unique Community Leadership Model. The members of our diverse Board of Trustees are specifically selected to represent the communities of Miami-Dade and Monroe counties in the creation, development and oversight of a privatized, local foster care system. 
The mission of Our Kids is to oversee and lead a coordinated system of care, delivering excellence to abused, abandoned and neglected children and their families in Miami-Dade and Monroe counties.

The Sacramento City Unified School District’s Homeless Services program supports the enrollment, attendance and achievement of homeless students to ensure they receive equal access to educational opportunities. The Foster Youth Services Department is a group of school professionals that are experts in both educational and social service systems. They have created a program designed to serve the unique educational, social and emotional needs of children in foster care by building assets that make them resilient and ultimately successful.

Safe Harbor Family Services is a private, non-profit corporation licensed by the State of California to train foster parents and supervise the placement of foster children into certified foster homes. Safe Harbor provides a beacon of stability, comfort and trustworthiness for any child, whether still in the foster care system, or emancipated. Safe Harbor also works to provide after-placement assistance and training to help every child reach their fullest potential.

UC Davis Children’s Hospital is a world-class pediatric hospital devoted to the health of babies, children and adolescents. With over 120 physicians in 33 pediatric subspecialties, the children’s hospital is the most comprehensive pediatric hospital in the Sacramento region, offering compassionate, family-centered care in a healing environment.

Wind Youth Services engages youth experiencing homelessness to provide them safety from the streets and access to resources to move them from crisis to healthy functioning and independence. The Wind Center is at the heart of the organization. The Center provides over 12,000 meals a year, offers showers, laundry services, hygiene essentials, food boxes, water and other supplies. While Wind services are voluntary and free, kids meet with a Youth Advocate to develop an individualized plan that identifies what services they need and how to overcome any barriers standing in the way. In addition, Youth Advocates work closely with parents and families, schools and other service providers to determine the best possible plan for each child.
